Olympic top tips from McTimoney Chiropractic

Well, we are now 10 days into the 2012 Olympics and Great Britain is doing well, 3rd in the medal table, how good is that!  The GB team has really stepped up to the mark in lots of different sports.  Here at Waterside Chiropractic, we have been keeping a keen eye on the Equestrian team and were absolutely ecstatic when we took a silver in the eventing and a gold yesterday in the team showjumping.  Well done Team GB!

Although a fantastic experience and wholly enjoyed by many, patients that have been up to the Games that have subsequently come in for treatment have been saying that it can be quite an exhausting day, queuing, walking, carrying backpacks, etc.  Most have been on their feet for a considerable part of the day, especially those that have been selected as volunteers to check tickets, direct people to their seats, provide general information and guidance and the many other tasks that are expected of the volunteers.  The McTimoney Chiropractic Association have brought out a little guidance for all our Olympic Park visitors to help deal with the demands of the day.  You can read the press release here.

Waterside Chiropractic offers the McTimoney Chiropractic technique which is known for being a relatively gentle and effective technique, used regularly by many to help manage back, neck and joint pain. The technique is suitable for the whole family: from newborn babies and pregnant women to grandparents – and even your pets. It is a technique used by many sports people, whether amateur or professional, including those at the London Olympics.  You do not have to be an Olympic competitor to benefit from McTimoney Chiropractic.  Contact Jackie Leftwich at Waterside Chiropractic to see how McTimoney Chiropractic can help you, your family and your animals to have a happier, healthier, pain-free 2012!
